Introduction

This guide provides detailed information about the Mother Transmitter. It provides

detailed instructions about using the component as well as specific requirements.

The CA9450 Security System monitors doors, elevators, hallways, and stairwells,

preventing the unauthorized exit of infants, children, or residents from a facility. The
Mother/Baby Match system also identifies when a mother is given an whether or not it is her
baby.

A small Transmitter is placed on the ankle or the wrist of a child or resident. A small

Mother Transmitter is also placed on the mother’s wrist. After the two transmitters have been
linked, each time the baby is given to the mother, the Green LED on the Mother Transmitter
indicates that it is the correct baby.

If an Infant  transmitter is detected in an Exit Alarm Zone, for example if a child is

being abducted, an alarm sounds at the exit as well as at a Central Server and its network of
Clients. The Central Server and Clients also identify which child or resident sounded the
alarm and the exit where the alarm occurred. The system can automatically lock doors,
deactivate elevators, and activate remote cameras. The CA9450 System provides further
security by alerting staff if a transmitter band is tampered with, or if any wire in the system is
cut or damaged.
