3.6 - Interface
3.6.1 - Interface > Link Manager
This section allows you to setup the link connection.
General Settings @ Link Manager
Item Description Default
Primary Link Select from “WWAN1”, “WWAN2”, or “WAN” .

WWAN1: Makes SIM1 the primary wireless link

WWAN2: Makes SIM2 the primary wireless link

WAN: Make WAN Ethernet port the primary wired link Note: WAN link is
available only if enable eth0 as WAN port in Interface > Ethernet > Ports
> Port Settings .
WWAN1
Backup Link Select from “None”, “WWAN1”, “WWAN2” or “WAN” .

None: Do not select any backup link

WWAN1: Make SIM1 the backup wireless link

WWAN2: Make SIM2 the backup wireless link

WAN: Make WAN Ethernet port the backup wired link Note: WAN link is
available only if enable eth0 as WAN interface in Interface > Ethernet >
Ports > Port Settings .
WWAN2
Backup Mode Select from “Cold Backup”, “Warm Backup” or “Load Balancing”.

Cold Backup: The inactive link is offline on standby

Warm Backup: The inactive link is online on standby

Load Balancing: Use two links simultaneously
Note: Warm backup mode and Load Balancing are not available for dual
SIM backup (IE, you must be using a wired WAN for at least one WAN
link)
