Reconnect oil supply
line and bleed oil from
burner tee bleeder.
Is the
flow
adequate?
Is the
supply line
blocked?
Is the
oil flow in the
aluminum oil pre-
heater
blocked?
Is the
burner tee strainer
blocked?
Does the
fuel valve open when
energized?
Is there oil
flowing the return
line?
Fill oil
tank.
Replace
or repair.
Replace fuel
pump motor.
Check wiring
and connections.
Check/clean oil pump
filter, foot valve, and
foot valve strainer.
Disconnect oil supply
line at the pump.
Establish constant pump
operation. See Priming
and Oil Leaks, page 19.
Remove the
fuel pump.
Start the heater.
Check for proper
operation.
Clear blockage
or replace line.
Disassemble and
clean the aluminum
oil pre-heater.
Remove and clean
the strainer.
Replace the
fuel valve.
Start the unit.
Check for proper
operation.
Replace the relief valve.
