Attach the level sensor bracket to the calmed
DN 100 inlet down pipe as shown. The
bracket should lock into place and the signal
wire should point upwards. The selected top-
up level (= height of level sensor) should
prevent the automatic top up from supplying
mains water prematurely, while also
safeguarding sufficient water reserves to
ensure continuous system operation.
The level sensor must be able to move
freely
.
Please note:
-
The intake pipe must always be fully
submerged in water.
-
The bracket must not be positioned too low down. The lower part of the sensor
must be at least 5 to 10 cm above the highest point of the tank floor.
-
To prevent flooding of the cellar, it is essential that a sealing ring is fitted
around the pipe leading into the house.
o)
Connect the 12V adaptor to a 230V AC mains power socket. The power supply must be
connected at all times.
p)
This completes the installation process. Mains water flows into the tank until it reaches
the height of the level sensor.
The specifications of EN1717 must be followed in addition to the codes of practice for
mains water installations (TRWI), while the general state of the art must also be
observed.
