SAWING WITH STRAIGHT EDGE SAW BLADES
Typical Application:
Cutting wood, plaster board, soft plastics, metals,
nails and screw cutting
• A low oscillation frequency is recommended for cutting metals.
• Distribute the use of the saw blade evenly to maximise the life of the
saw blades. Rotate circular saw blades by loosening the blade, rotating
it making sure it is aligned on the octagonal head then tighten again.
TIP:
Do not over tighten the
bolt or you may damage both
the attachment and the Allen
key.
TIP:
Place washer on the
same way it was taken off or
the attachment will be loose
and vibrate causing damage to
the tool and attachment.
TIP:
Make sure the tool
attachments are placed on
the Renovator the correct
way around. The bend in the
blades project the cutting edge
away from the washer and
bolt. This allows the blade to
sit flush against the surface
of a material without the bolt
becoming an obstruction.
If you are unable to make a
simple cut because the bolt
keeps banging against the
material, then it is likely that
E-CUT SAW BLADES
WARNING:
The saw blade teeth are very sharp. Avoid touching
during mounting and especially while working.
Clamp or tightly secure the work piece before starting a cut.
the tool attachment is upside
down and needs to be flipped
over and reattached correctly.
Use a slight pendulum motion
when plunge cutting or sawing
to allow sufficient chip removal.
TIP:
Let the tool do the work,
too much pressure will make
the tool hard to control.
Set the Speed Dial to 3, it
will cut easier and be easier
to control. A lower speed will
lessen the chance of leaving
burn marks on wood.
