b) Rechargeable battery

•  The built-in rechargeable battery cannot be removed and can only be charged 

in the device. Never attempt to remove the battery and charge it with an external 

charger.

•  The battery must be charged with the vehicle charging cable provided, a USB 

power adapter or a USB port on your computer. Using another power supply with 

a different charging current may damage the camera and cause the battery to 

overheat, catch fire or explode.

•  Charge the battery on a regular basis, even when you do not use the device 

(about every 3 months). Failure to charge the battery regularly may cause the 

battery to overdischarge, which can cause permanent damage.
