• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
process may take several hours.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be carried out by a technician
or a specialist repair centre.

Setup
• Turn off all the devices that you wish to connect before connecting any cables.
• The connections can be made as follows:
Connect a computer to two monitors
- Connect a DisplayPort cable from the computer to the
DP
connector.
- Connect one DisplayPort cable to the
DP 1
and
DP 2
connectors.
- Connect the other end of the DisplayPort cable to the monitors.
Connect two computers to one monitor
- Connect one DisplayPort cables from the computers to each of the
DP 1
and
DP 2
DisplayPort connectors.
- Connect a DisplayPort cable to the
DP
connector and the monitor.
The maximum DisplayPort cable length (per DisplayPort port) must not exceed 1.5 m.
• Connect the circular connector of the USB power cable to the
5 V/DC
connector. Connect
the USB A plug to a suitable USB port (at least USB 2.0) on your computer or another USB
power source (5 V/DC 500 mA).
• Turn on the computer and monitor. The output can only be made on a monitor or from a
computer. Press the Shift key at the top of the switch to switch to either the computer or
monitor to be used.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the repeater from all connected devices before cleaning.
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the case or cause the product to malfunction.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.

Bidirectional DisplayPort switch

Intended use
The product is used to switch DisplayPort signals from one or two connected devices that
are connected with DisplayPort cables. The switch works bidirectionally and can be used to
switch between two inputs to one output or from one input between two outputs. The product
supports a resolution up to 4K2K/60Hz. A USB power cable is included in the delivery scope.
The connection is made to a free USB port (5 V/DC 500 mA).
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture
(e.g. in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the instructions carefully and store
them in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these
operating instructions as well.
