Note:
Many audio CDs contain a copy protection to prevent reproduction of the CD. In most cases, this
makes conversion into a compressed MP3 music file via the encoding function more difficult as
well.
The CD player is usually not impaired by the copy protection during „normal“ playback via the
analogue cinch output or the digital optical output. Trying to convert such tracks may, however,
cause destroyed MP3 files.
In very rare cases, the CD player may no longer react to the operating buttons or the IR remote
control. In this case, switch off the CD player with the on/off switch on its front and then on again
after a few seconds.
Notes on copy protection:
Always observe the law in your country when converting audio CDs to MP3 files. You must not
copy, transmit, distribute protected products, make them publicly accessible or rent them out
without the permission of the holder of the rights.
