Item no. 1268706

Intended use

This microphone is designed to convert acoustic signals (sound waves) into electrical signals.

The low-level audio output signal must only be connected to suitable microphone inputs on audio

devices. It can be used for speeches and interviews, as a hands-free microphone or for Internet

different ear shapes. The microphone can also be secured to clothing using a clip.

Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.

humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.

•

Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.

•  If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and

protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if

the product:

 - is visibly damaged,

Operation

The product must only be connected to suitable microphone inputs in order to

avoid distortions or mismatches that could cause damage to the microphone or the

connected audio device. Pay attention to the connection values in the "Technical

data".

Never direct the microphone at the sound outlet of loudspeakers, as this can result in

feedback which may damage the loudspeakers and the connected amplifier.

a)  Securing the microphone

•  Place the earset microphone on an ear and secure it with the ear hook. Adjust the microphone

to the desired speaking position. Ensure that the product sits in a secure position. You can place

the microphone on the left or right side of your head as required.

•  If you do not wish to place the microphone on your ear, click the clip with the half-open side

onto the microphone's ear hook, ensuring that the plastic tubing does not cover the ear hook.

You can then attach the microphone to your tie, collar or other parts of your clothing using the

clamp on the clip.

•  You can feed the microphone cable through clothing or holes in accessories in order to conceal it.

b)  Using the microphone

•  Turn off the audio device to which the microphone will be connected. Turn the sensitivity of

your audio device to zero using the corresponding input level control (refer to the operating

instructions of the audio device you are using).

•  Insert  the  3.5  mm  jack  plug  on  the  microphone  cable  into  the  corresponding  adapter.  Then

connect it to the microphone connection on your audio device.

There are three connection adapters available. Choose the one that matches your

device.

•  Turn on your audio device with the connected sound source (loudspeakers).
•  Test  the  microphone  by  speaking  a  few  words  (e.g.  counting  whole  numbers)  whilst  slowly

moving the input level control on the audio device upwards until the desired output volume is

reached.

Air movements such as wind, moving the microphone or breathing create deep

frequencies in the sound spectrum. The attached windscreen made of sponge

prevents such sounds from being recorded.

Maintenance and cleaning

•  The product does not require maintenance except for occasional cleaning.
•

Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the device,

therefore never open it.

•  Before cleaning, remove the 3.5 mm jack plug from the connected audio device.
•

Use a soft, antistatic and lint-free cloth to clean the device. Dust can be removed easily using a

soft and clean long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.

•

Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning materials.

Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household

waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory

regulations.
