b) Operation
• The product is designed in protection class III and may only be powered by the
batteries.
• Do not look straight into the light rays during operation. Temporarily, the light
beams can lead to visual defects. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures in
sensitive persons. Of course, this applies particularly to epileptics.
• Never position containers with liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or plants,
in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus
impair the safety of the device. There is also a very high risk of fire! In such a
case, switch off the device immediately and remove the batteries. Do not use the
product after that and take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never leave the device on unattended.
c) Battery instructions
• Batteries should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swal-
lowed by children or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into contact with the
skin. You should therefore wear suitable protective gloves.
• Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a
danger of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; they may explode! Only re-
charge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable
battery charger.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting
the batteries.
• Remove batteries from the device if you will not be using it for a longer period.
Inserting/replacing batteries
• Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the casing. Remove the safety screw of the
battery compartment lid.
• Insert three new 1.5 V Mignon batteries (AA) paying attention to the correct polarity. The
correct polarity is stamped on the bottom of the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment lid again and secure it with the safety screw.
• If the light intensity decreases or the light does not function any more, the batteries have to
be replaced.
Set-up
When selecting the installation location for your device, avoid vibration, dust, hot
and cold temperatures and dampness. Furthermore, keep the product away from
strong transformers or motors.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
To ensure sufficient ventilation and movement, do not cover the device. In addition,
air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths,
curtains or similar items.
• Install the party light fixture on a horizontal and stable surface.
• Protect the surface of valuable furniture by using an appropriate underlay.
Operation
The LED Party light is a light effect device. These devices are not designed for
continuous operation. Strict adherence to operational pauses increases the service
life of the product significantly.
• After insertion of the batteries the device is ready for operation.
• It can be switched on or off by an on/off switch located at the bottom of the housing.

Intended use
The LED party light is used to generate lighting effects at home, on dance floors, in party
basements etc.
The product operates via batteries (for correct type see “Technical data”) only. Do not use any
other power supply.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Con-
tact with moisture, for example in bathrooms or the like, must be avoided.
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product in any way. If
you use the product for other purposes than those described above, the product may be dam-
aged. Furthermore, improper use can cause risks such as short-circuits, fire, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. Please include these operating
instructions when you pass the product on to a third party.

a) General information
• The device is an effect lamp and not a toy for children. Keep it out of the reach
of children.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations,
high humidity, moisture, combustible gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place naked flames, such as burning candles in the immediate vicinity of
the device.
• Please handle the product carefully. It can be damaged by impact, blows, or by
being dropped, even from a low height.
• Never expose the product to mechanical stress.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure
it against unintended use. Safe operation is no longer possible, if the product:
- shows visible damage,
- no longer functions properly,
- has been stored under adverse ambient conditions for an extended period of
time or
- has been exposed to considerable strain during transport.
