b) Operating mode overview
Red, green and blue light
The spotlight emits constant light in the selected colour.
Stroboscope
The strobe colour is white and can be set to high or normal speed.
High speed
High speed can be used in the effects settings strobe, changing colour and fader.
Colour change
In this setting, the colours change constantly.
Fader
In this setting, the colours change by fading slowly into one another.
Sound-to-light operation
In sound-to-light operation, the LED spotlight responds to music signals detected by the product’s built-in
microphone. This feature allows the LED spotlight to create a light show in time with the music. The
product’s built-in microphone responds to ambient sounds such as music, singing, tapping, etc.
An external microphone may not be connected to the XLR input.
SLAVE = Operation via the controller of another LED spotlight in a chain.
The LED spotlight can be used as a device within a master/slave chain. In that case, the built-in controller
of the master device acts as controller for any connected slave devices. Each member of the chain is
assigned a function (master/slave). A chain can have only one master. The master device operates in
automatic or sound-to-light mode and synchronously controls all connected slave devices.
See chapter “9. DMX 512 connection, b) Setup of a master/slave chain
“
for information on connection.
Within a master/slave chain, only one device may be set up as the master device — all other
devices within the chain must be set as slave devices.
