d) Use with DMX Controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires 8 or 13 DMX channels depending on DMX operating mode.
Setting the DMX operating mode (channel number)
• Press MODE/ESC (1) repeatedly until 13CH or 8CH appears.
• Select the desired DMX channel number with the buttons UP (2) or DOWN (3) and confirm your input with
the button ENTER (4).
13CH = 13 channel DMX mode
8CH = 8 channel DMX mode
Setting the DMX starting address
• Press MODE/ESC (1) repeatedly until dxx appears (xxx defines the DMX start address).
• Select the desired DMX start address with the buttons UP (2) or DOWN (3) and confirm your input with
the button ENTER (4).
The following tables provide information on the different DMX operating modes and the effects of the
settings on the individual DMX channels.
