Turn the adjusting collar (2) to switch the
chisel on and off and to adjust the chisel
force:
• Clockwise: Switch the chisel on and
increase its force.
• Counter clockwise: Reduce the chisel
force and switch it off.
• During short breaks: Turn the adjusting
collar (2) completely counter clockwise.
• During longer interruptions or once you
are finished with the unit: Disconnect the
compressed air hose from the
compressed air supply.
4.3 Chisel Replacement
Always disconnect the Power-Pillo
from the compressed air supply
before exchanging or replacing
chisel inserts.
• To replace an insert, pull the chisel (1)
forwards and out of the tool retainer.
• Insert the new chisel into the tool
retainer. The chisel must clearly lock into
place in the retainer.
5. Cleaning / Maintenance
Always disconnect the unit from
the compressed air supply before
beginning any maintenance tasks.
The Power-Pillo does not require the use
of an oil atomizer. However, it may not be
operated at a pressure in excess of 6 bar
[87 psi] otherwise the unit will be damaged.
Occasionally wipe down the Power-Pillo
surfaces with a soft cloth.
6. Spare Parts
Please refer to the enclosed spare parts
list for all consumables and spare /
replacement parts.
7. Warranty
Provided the unit is properly used, Renfert
warrants the Power-Pillo for a period of 3
years . The original sales receipt from the
dealer must be provided when making
warranty claims. Components subject to
natural wear are excluded from this
warranty.
The warranty is voided in case of improper
use; failure to observe the operating,
cleaning, maintenance, and connection
instructions; in case of independent repairs
or repairs by unauthorized personnel; if
spare parts from other manufacturers are
employed, or; in case of unusual influences
or influences not in compliance with the
utilization instructions. Warranty service
shall not extend the original warranty.
