5. lifting
Safety is critical during the lifting. Use appropriate equipment as necessary. Full safety and installation training is
available at Renewable Energy Inc..
The following are the recommended steps for the manual lifting process.
1.
Lift the assembled frame to the system installation location and mount firmly to the beams.
2.
Lift the two boxes of evacuated tubes and one box of heat pipe one by one to the location.
3.
Lift the tank to the location and place to the shoulder rest bar, adjust the angel and bold down.
6. Assembling
Caution:
Prevent from burn injury, touching the heat pipes in the glass tubes is strictly prohibited. The evacu-
ated tubes are not allowed to expose under the sunshine directly before the installation!
Roll the tank to ensure the line between the end bracket cap and the hole in the tank is parallel with the reflec
-
tors as illustrated in a diagram below.
• Put the heat pipe seal ring onto the heat pipe. Insert and bolt tight the heat pipe securely into the hole
in the tank.
• Connect the plumbing pipes and fill the tank with water after all heat pipes are tightened and T&P valve
is installed,
• open the T&P valve first
, then turn on the solar isolation valve (V2). When water coming out from the
T&P valve is noticed, close the T&P valve. The tank is filled up. Check the leakage around the system.
Tight the bolt until the leakage stops in any holes with leakage observed. Put the Tube Rubber Ring in the
tank holes and insert the glass tubes and secure them by assembling the tube rubber rings and plastic
end caps.
