- Check that the emulator's target status LEDs.
If they are blinking, the emulator has not started
up properly. Check the settings explained in
"(1) Troubleshooting When the Emulator Starts
Up".
- Check that the USB cable is connected
properly.
- Check that an emulator other than the compact
emulator (such as PC4701, or PC7501) is not
connected.
- If the Clock tab in the Init dialog box is set to
External, check that an oscillator of the target
system is operating properly.

External, change it to Internal.
