6.

Do not put your fingers or other objects into the feed tube while the juicer

is in operation.  If food becomes lodged in the feed tube, use only the food

pusher to push it through. If this doesn’t work, turn off the motor, unplug

the unit, and disassemble the juicer to remove the food.

7.

To protect against risk of electrical shock, never submerge the motor

base in water or other liquid.

8.

Do not operate this or any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or

after the appliance malfunctions, or is damaged in any manner. Return

the product to your local Service Center for examination, repair or

electrical or mechanical adjustment.

9.

Turn off the motor after each use of your juicer.  Before disassembling or

cleaning, make sure the motor stops completely then unplug the power

cord from the electrical outlet.

10.

Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.  To unplug, grasp the plug, not the

cord, and pull.

11.

Always make sure the juicer cover is fastened securely in place before the

motor is turned on. Do not attempt to unfasten the cover while the juicer

is in  operation.

12.

Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter.

13.

The use of attachments or replacement parts not recommended or sold

by the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or other injury.

14.

Do not attempt to bypass the cover interlock mechanism, pulp container

safety switch, or any other of the safety features.

15.

Do not use the appliance if the stainless steel strainer basket is damaged.

16.

This appliance (120 volt units) may have a polarized plug (one blade

wider than the other).  To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug

will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.  If the plug does not fit fully

in the outlet, reverse the plug.  If it still does not fit, contact a qualified

electrician.  Do not modify the plug in any way.
