Removal
Operation Photos

Remove the intermediate shaft (see 4-4 Steering/Intermediate shaft).
Note: Do not turn the wheel when the shaft is not connected to the steering unit.

Remove the connecting torque rod.

Place a hydraulic plate in contact under the
subframe.
4 -
Remove the wheel speed sensors

at the
level of the pivots and disconnect them from
the support

on the steering tie-rod.
5 -
Remove the point E nuts
(4)

6 -
Extract the EE' support from the point E ball
joint; a ball joint puller must be used to do
this.
