HEATING - VENTILATION - AIR CONDITIONING
(continued)
Air conditioning controls
Control F switches the air
conditioning system on and off.
The system cannot be switched on if
control C is set to
0
.
Use the air conditioning system
occasionally in winter to keep the
system in good working order.
Do not worry about water under the
vehicle: it is just condensation.
Using the air conditioning system
allows you to:
• lower
the
internal
passenger
compartment
temperature,
especially in hot weather, when
driving in traffic or when the
vehicle has been parked in the
sun;
• reduce the humidity of the air
blown
inside
the
passenger
compartment (prevents misting).
Fuel consumption increases when
the air conditioning system is being
used. (Switch it off when it is not
required.)
Note:
the air conditioning may be
used in all conditions but does not
operate
when
the
external
temperature is low.
•
Button
F
not pressed (indicator
light
G
not lit)
The
air
conditioning
is
not
operating.
Heating
and
ventilation
are
therefore identical to that of a
vehicle without air conditioning.
•
Button
F
pressed (indicator light
G
is on)
The air conditioning is operating.
When
the
air
conditioning system is
operating, all windows
must
be
closed
for
maximum efficiency.
If there is an operating fault,
contact your RENAULT Dealer.
Do not open the refrigeration
circuit: this may cause injury to
your eyes or skin.
