  TO DEFINE THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE LINE

12  Remove the wide trimmer attachment head and replace with the detail  

 

trimmer attachment head.

13  Start with edge of beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer  

 

blade onto your skin.

14  Use motions towards edge of beard/moustache line to trim the desired  

 

locations in facial area.

TRIMMING SIDEBURNS 

16  Hold the beard trimmer with the wide trimmer blade or detailed trimmer  

 

blade facing you.

17  Start with edge of sideburn, and with the trimmer blades resting lightly  

 

against your skin, use motions towards edge of sideburn line to trim to  

 

desired locations in facial area.

  TRIMMING THE NAPE OF YOUR NECK

  Note: You will need a hand mirror for this operation if performing it alone.

18  Remove the fixed combs or adjustable comb from the wide trimmer. Use  

 

your fingers to lift the hair at the base of your head up off the neck.

19  Your index finger should be covering the roots of the hairs you are lifting to  

 

prevent accidental removal by the beard trimmer.

20  Using your other hand, hold the trimmer to the base of your neck with the  

 

cutting unit facing up, and move the trimmer up the length of the neck until  

 

it touches your finger covering the hair roots at the base of your head.

21  Be sure to move the unit slowly when performing this operation and to keep  

 

the hair roots at the base of your head out of the way of the trimmer.

SHAVING FACIAL AREAS

22  Hold the beard trimmer with foil attachment head on.

23  Stretch the skin with your free hand so the hairs stand upright.

24  Start to clean shave desired facial areas by applying light pressure to the foil  

 

head against your skin, applying more pressure for stubborn hairs.

25  Use short, vertical strokes.

  Note: Thick hair growth may need to be trimmed before being effectively  

 

removed by the foil attachment head.

  TO REMOVE HAIR FROM NOSE AND EAR

26  Attach the nose, ear and eyebrow attachment.

27  Insert the groomer’s cutting unit gently into the nostril or ear.

28  Gently move the groomer in and out of the nostril or ear and at the same  

 

time rotate the groomer.
