HOW tO Use yOUr reMingtOn® PrO Big cUrLs

Place the tong on a flat, hard, heat resistant surface ensuring the
barrel does not come into contact with the surface. Plug in to any
household (120/240V AC) power outlet. Press the on/off switch to
switch the tong on. The LED indicator light on the top of the
handle will illuminate. The LED on and ready indicator light will
flash while the barrel of the tong is heating to the temperature
selected. When the temperature selected has been reached the

LED on and ready indicator light will be steady. To select a higher
temperature rotate the variable heat dial clockwise towards “+”.
To select a lower temperature press rotate the variable heat dial
anti-clockwise towards “-”. The lowest temperature setting is
80°C. The highest temperature setting is 210°C. Take extra care
when using the tong, as it can get very hot. It is important to
establish the correct temperature for your hair type prior to use to
prevent over drying or damage to your hair. If in doubt, start with
the low temperature setting first and increase the temperature
gradually.

tO cUrL yOUr Hair

•  To make styling easier, part the hair either in the middle or to

the side and use clips to section your hair, top, sides and back.

•  You may need to comb through your hair before styling to

ensure that it is tangle free.

•  Start at the nape of the neck and curl the underneath

sections of hair first. When the underneath sections of hair
are complete, move to the next layers, finishing with the hair
around the part line.

•  Take about a 5 cm section of hair and pull taut and down and

away from the scalp.

•  Holding the tong with the other hand open the tong clip, place

the hair on the barrel and close the tong clip. This will secure
the hair to the barrel.

•  When the hair is secured, slowly twist the hair up the length of

the barrel ensuring not to overlap the hair.

•  Hold the tong in the hair for 5 - 10 seconds depending on

your hair type.

•  Release the tong clip and the hair will slide from the barrel.
•  Repeat until the desired amount of curl has been achieved.
•  Allow your curls to cool so the curls are fully set.  Once cool

run your fingers through your hair to break up the curls.

•  You can complete your style with a finishing serum or hair

spray.

To switch off your tong, press the on/off switch.
