Operating safety
Risk

Lawn mower should be supplied
via a residual current device
(RCD) with a tripping current of
not more than 30 mA.
—
If you sever the power cord while
mowing, you are at risk of being
killed or injured. Slowly move
away in short steps from the unit.
Pull the plug out of the socket.
When mowing, ensure that the
connection cable never gets into
the cutting area.
Accident
—
No person, especially children,
and/or animals should be allowed
to stand close to the mower while
it is in use.
Keep in mind that the operator or
user is responsible for accidents
or hazards occurring to other
people or their property.
Risk of injury due to ejected
stones or other objects.
Falling over
—
Operate the machine at walking
speed only.
—
Use extreme caution when
reversing or pulling the machine
towards you.
—
When mowing on steep slopes,
there is a risk of the mower tipping

slopes, never up and down. Do
not mow excessively steep
slopes. Do not mow on inclines
greater than 20%.
—
Exercise extreme caution when
changing direction on slopes and
ensure that you always have a

mowing.

If the ground is wet the mower

Avoid operating the machine in
wet grass.

feet well away from the blade.
—
Do not tilt the machine when
switching on the motor, except if
the machine has to be tilted for
starting. In this case, do not tilt it
more than absolutely necessary
and lift only the part, which is away
from the operator.
—
Stop the blade if the machine
has to be tilted for transportation
when crossing surfaces other than
grass, and when transporting the
machine to and from the area to
be used.
