Access Code into Memory
In most cases, this feature is not
used. It is usually only required
when the telephone is installed
outside of a residential application
where you may have to dial a
number(s), such as "9", to get an
outside line. Whatever number(s) is programmed as an Access
Code will automatically be dialed, followed by a 3 second
pause, prior to any number dialed from the Call Back Feature.
To set up the access code:

Press the
DIRECTORY / STORE
key until the display screen reads
ENTER ACCESS CODE
.

Enter the desired number, such as 9.
Note:
There is no need to enter
PAUSE
. The Dial Call Back
operation automatically inserts a 3 second pause after the
access code number is dialed.
To delete the access code:

Press the
DIRECTORY / STORE
key until the display screen reads
ENTER ACCESS CODE
.

Press the
DELETE
key.

Press the
DIRECTORY / STORE
key again and the screen will go
back to its normal position after a 15 second delay.

Press the
DIRECTORY / STORE
key. The LCD will display a
number along with a memory
location (Figure 2). Use the
UP /
DOWN
key to change the
memory location to the desired
memory location (Figure 3).
(MEM 1, MEM2, … MEM10)

Press the
DIRECTORY / STORE
key to store the name and
number.
To program additional numbers,
repeat steps

Reviewing information
in memory
To review a name and number that is already programmed into
a speed dial location:

To select a memory location, press the
DIRECTORY / STORE
key. The LCD will display the
following (MEM1: NAME): (Figure
4). Use the
UP / DOWN
key to find
the desired memory location
(MEM1, MEM2 . . .MEM10)

To exit, simply lift the handset,
then hang up.
