6. After you have saved all the desired tracks, press the PLAY / PAUSE
button (2) to play the tracks in the saved order.
7. To delete the saved list, press the STOP button (32/43) on the device or on
the remote control.
USB MODE
MP3 / WMA PLAYBACK FROM USB STORAGE
The device can decrypt and play back MP3 and WMA audio files from connected
USB media.
1. Press the CD / USB button (2) . Then press the FUNCTION button (6) to
switch to USB mode.
2. Insert a USB stick into the USB SOCKET (13) .
3. The device reads in the USB stick automatically. The total number of MP3 /
WMA files is shown on the
LCD DISPLAY (18) .
4. Use the same procedure as for CD playback above.
ANNOTATION:

The system can only capture and read files in MP3 and WMA format
via the USB port.

If the device is connected to an MP3 player via the USB socket, it
may happen with some MP3 players that playback via the USB
socket is not possible due to differences in the MP3 coding format.
This is not a malfunction of the device.

If storage media are connected incorrectly, damage to the device
(HIF1897T) or to the storage media (USB stick) can occur. Therefore,
please make absolutely sure that the storage media are always
inserted correctly.
Note:

Do not forcibly insert your USB device into the USB port. This can
lead to damage.

The USB socket is not suitable for charging external USB devices
such as smartphones and cell phones. Plugging in such devices can
damage the USB socket.
