b) Checking the propeller
Warning!
Never reach into the propeller when the rechargeable battery is connected or when the model boat is ready
for operation. The drive could start up unintentionally. The running propeller can cause severe injury!
Check the propeller and its locking nut for tightness and damage before every use. If a propeller is damaged, replace
it before using the boat. Failure to do so may result in the propeller inadvertently getting loose or breaking apart during
operation. This may cause further damage to your model. In addition, your may lose control of your model.
With this in mind, follow the instructions in section 13. b).
c) Opening the canopy
Turn the locking knob (1) on the underside of the hull by 180°. Then turn the four locks (2) on the top by 90° as shown
in the figure so that they point outwards. You can then remove the canopy. Do not use any force.
To put the canopy back on later, proceed exactly in the reverse order.

d) Protecting the receiver with a rubber grommet
A rubber grommet is included in the scope of supply. It
must be pulled over the receiver and sealed tightly. It pre-
vents moisture from entering the receiver.
However, first check whether the model boat responds
correctly to the control signals from the transmitter as de-
scribed in section 10. f).
