d) Insert car battery
Important
Only use the battery/batteries supplied with the car. Never operate the car using a power adaptor, not even
for test purposes.
1. Release the hook and loop fastener.
2. Connect the battery lead.
3. Cinch the hook and loop fastener to secure the battery.
Make sure the cables are tucked away before fitting the car body
11. Driving
Important
Please complete the steps outlined in ““10. Getting ready for driving” on page 28.”.
a) Switch the transmitter and receiver ON
Important
Never reach into the drive, and do not stop the wheels with your hand.
1. Switch the transmitter ON.
- The LED will blink quickly to indicate it is waiting to connect to the receiver.
- The LED will be solid on when successfully connected.
2. Switch the receiver ON.
- Press and hold the receiver power button for approximately 3 seconds.
3. Check the following:
Do not touch the throttle lever during checking!

STEERING TRIM
” The dial should be in the middle position so that the wheels are facing forward. You can fine
tune the trim later. See section “c) Adjusting trim/speed/steering inputs” on page 31”.
4. Replace the car body.
5. The car is now ready for driving.
