d) Connecting the Flight Battery
Move the control lever for the pitch and yaw functions (also
see figure 1, item 9) to the bottom position and switch on
the transmitter with the on/off switch (also see figure 1,
item 6).
The transmitter emits two short signals and the transmitter
LED (also see figure 1, item 1) flashes.
Then connect the plug of the flight battery (1) that is pro
-
tected against polarity reversal to the battery connection
socket of the quadrocopter (2).
Right after connecting the battery, the red (3) and blue (4)
LEDs of the quadrocopter will start to light up briefly and
will then flash quickly.
Then put the quadrocopter back in the starting place on a
level ground.
Move the control lever for the pitch and yaw functions to
the front position and then back to the bottom position
again at once. The remote control transmitter then emits
a signal sound, and the LEDs at the quadrocopter and the
transmitter LED are permanently lit.
Now your quadrocopter is ready to start.
