Electric Motorcycle 2.4 GHz RtR
Item No. 1342867
Intended Use
This product is an electrically powered model motorcycle that can be steered with the wireless, ra-
dio, remote control unit included in the delivery. The model is ready-to-drive. The driving batteries
(perma-nently installed in the motorcycle, not replaceable) are charged via a charger included in the
delivery which is operated via the USB port on a computer, a USB hub with a mains adaptor or a
USB outlet plug.
The product is not suitable for children under 3 years (small parts can be swallowed). We recommend
it for children 5 years or older; an adult must instruct the child on motorcycle operation and the use of
the remote control unit. An adult must supervise or carry out the charging of the motorcycle’s driving
batteries.
Please follow safety instructions and other information contained in these operating instructions.

Safety Information
For damages resulting from noncompliance with these operating instructions, the
warrantee/guarantee is null and void. We are not liable for secondary damages!
We are not liable for damage to persons or property resulting from inappropriate
use or noncompliance with the safety instructions! In such cases the warrantee/
guarantee is null and void.
Normal wear-and-tear in the course of operation (for example worn-down tires, frayed
sprockets) and accident damages (for example, snapped handlebars, scratched or destro-
yed trim, bent parts of the chassis, etc.) are not included in the warrantee and guarantee.
Dear customer! These safety instructions serve not only to protect the product, but also
your own safety and that of other persons. Therefore we ask you to read this chapter with
attention before using the product.
a) In general
Attention! Important information!
Operating this model can lead to damage to persons or objects. Please make absolutely
sure that you are adequately insured for operation of this model, for instance with a per-
sonal liability insurance policy. If you already have such a policy, then make sure before
operating this model that your policy covers its operation.
• Independent changes or modifications to the product are not allowed due to safety and licencing
(CE).
• The product is not suitable for children under 3 years (small parts can be swallowed). We recom
-
mend it for children 5 years or older; an adult must instruct the child on motorcycle operation and
the use of the remote control. An adult must supervise or carry out the charging of the motorcycle’s
driving batteries.
• The product may not get damp or wet.
• Dispose of the packaging responsibly; it could present a danger to children.
• Should you have questions that cannot be answered by the operating instructions, please contact
us or another specialist.
The use and operation of a remote-control model motorcycle must be learned! If you have never
driven such a motorcycle, please be especially careful and get used to the reaction of the motorcy-
cle to the remote-control commands. Be patient!
Do not take risks when operating this product! Your own safety and that of your environment de-
pend solely on your responsible operation of the model.
b) Driving the motorcycle
• Please note that this motorcycle may not be used on public streets, plazas, and alleys. Operate it
only on private property with the owner’s permission.
• Inappropriate use can cause damage to persons and property! Only drive the motorcycle when you
can see it. For this reason, do not drive at night.
• Do not drive at people or animals!
• Do not drive when it is raining, through water, mud or snow. The model is not water-resistant or
waterproof.
• Avoid use when it is very cold. Extreme cold causes the plastics of the motorcycle to lose their
elasticity; then even small accidents can damage the model.
• Always have the transmitter on when using the motorcycle. To switch off the motorcycle, first turn
off the motorcycle using the on/off switch. Then turn off the transmitter.
• When the transmitter batteries are weak, then the range is limited.
• If the driving battery in the motorcycle is weak, then it slows down or does not react correctly to the
transmitter. In this case stop operating the motorcycle at once (first turn off the motorcycle and then
the transmitter). Charge the battery in the motorcycle.
Information about batteries and rechargeable batteries
• Keep children away from batteries and rechargeable batteries.
• Do not leave batteries and rechargeables lying around – they could be swallowed by children or
pets. If this should happen, consult a doctor immediately!
• Never short circuit, take apart or light batteries or rechargeables. This could lead to explosions!
• Conventional (not rechargeable) batteries cannot be charged. Danger of fire or explosion!
• Only use batteries, not rechargeables, in the transmitter.
• When putting the batteries into the transmitter, make sure the poles (plus/+ and minus/-) are cor
-
rect.
• If the units are not to be used for a long time (when they are stored, for example) remove the
batteries from the transmitter so that there is no damage from batteries that leak.
• Always change the whole set of transmitter batteries! Do not mix full and half-full batteries. Always
use the same type of batteries from the same manufacturer.
• Never mix batteries with rechargeables. Only use batteries in the transmitter.
Before start-up
a) Charge the driving battery (fig. A)
As a rule, the driving battery is empty at delivery and must be charged before the first run. Included in
the delivery contents is a charging cable to be used to charge the rechargeable battery permanently
mounted in the motorcycle. The charging cable has a USB plug which can either be connected to the
appropriate USB port on a switched on computer, a USB hub with its own mains adaptor, or a USB
plug (not included the delivery contents)-
To charge the driving rechargeable battery proceed as follows:
• Connect the USB plug of the charger cable (1) with the USB port of a turned-on computer, a USB
hub with its own mains adaptor, or a USB mains adaptor.
• The round plug of the charging cable must be plugged into the charging jack of the motorcycle (3).
The on/off switch of the motorcycle (2) must be in the off position.
• Charging begins; this is shown by the LED on the charging cable.
• The motorcycle’s battery is fully charged when the LED on the USB charging cable switches off.
Remove the charging cable from the motorcycle.
b) Putting batteries into the transmitter (fig. B)
The transmitter does not have a charging jack and is, due to the low current requirements and the
tendency of rechargeables to empty by themselves, not designed to be operated with rechargeable
batter-ies. Only use high-quality alkaline batteries for the transmitter. For transmitter operation four
AA/mignon batteries are needed.
To put in the batteries proceed as follows:
• Remove the battery cover (1) by unscrewing the screw (2) and then lifting the cover.
• Put the four batteries into the compartment with negative and positive poles in position. Make sure
the polarity is correct. (3)
• Then close the battery compartment by putting the cover (1) on and tightening the screw (2).
Start up
a) Controls (fig C)
1 Transmitter on/off switch
2 LED to check on/off status
3 Control for preset of motorcycle maximum speed
4 Gas/brake lever for progressive adjustment of acceleration/braking
5 Steering wheel for steering left/right
6 Motorcycle on/off switch
b) Start-up of transmitter and motorcycle (fig. C)
Turn on the on/off switch (1) on the transmitter. To show that it is on, the LED (2) blinks for a few
seconds. While the transmitter LED (2) is blinking, the on/off switch on the motorcycle (6) must be
activated so that the transmitter and motorcycle receiver can connect (they use the same signal co-
ding). While the transmitter and receiver are connecting, the front head-light on the motorcycle blinks.
Connection was successful when the headlight stays on and the flywheel mass motor (for weight
equalization, inside the motorcycle) starts up.
If the motorcycle on/off switch is thrown too late, once the transmitter LED (2) is burns
steadily, then the transmitter signal will not be recognized by the motorcycle receiver. In
this case the motorcycle headlight continues to blink and the flywheel mass motor (inside
the motorcycle) does not start up. In such a case, turn off the transmitter and then turn it on
again.
