d) Mounting the Aileron-Control Cables
First cut the 8cm long plastic tube into four equal lengths as conduits (1) and
slip 2 over each one of the 2 aileron linkage cables (2).
Then screw on 1 linkage lug (3) to each cable end with a thread.
e) Mounting the Ailerons
Separate the ailerons on the left and right wing with a sharp cutter (1). Remove
the connecting rods and smoothen the cutting edges (see sketch).
The front edges of the ailerons must taper straight and to a point, ensure the
sanding is carried out correctly so that maximum rudder travel is possible
both upwards and downwards.
Slide the aileron linkage cables into the preconstructed slot in the wings and
glue the two cable conduits (3) to the wing in accordance with the illustration.
