6.0 ADJUSTING THE WORKING DEPTH OF THE BRUSH
The working depth of the brush can be adjusted by adjusting the wheels by turning the
spindles at the front side of the machine.
Shown version: VT 1200 (The same principle applies to the VT 1800.)

The start procedure is as follows:
!! Make sure that the tractor/Verti-Top is blocked well and cannot move
on its own accord !!
!! Switch off the tractor before descending !!

Turn the spindles until the correct height is achieved
(Figure 11, A)

Set both sides of the machine at the same height so that it is
possible to clean the field evenly. For this purpose, use the
indication stickers
(Figure 11, B)

NEVER
adjust the machine in such a way that it could damage the subsoil.
! IMPORTANT !
First check the working depth on the subsoil statically before using the machine!
Experience shows that the machine adjustment for top-layer cleaning is best if the
brush hairs just don’t touch the grass fibres.
