Remove, clean, use Loctite.

Unlock it.
Change the rotational speed of
the PTO.
Set roller freely on the ground.
Change the machine adjustments.

13.0 MAINTENANCE

Method
Before each use
Check for loose bolts/nuts.
Connect the machine to the
tractor and leave the machine
running without load for five
minutes.
Check the oil levels in the
gearboxes.
Presence and legibility of safety
stickers
(Fig. 7).
Any loose parts around the
PTO.
Tighten the loose bolts/nuts
with the correct torque.
Look and listen for any
strange noises and
movements.
If necessary, use SAE 140
Replace if damaged or
missing.
Secure these parts so that
they cannot come too close
to the PTO.
After first 20 operating
hours
(new or repaired)
Lubricate the PTO, roller
bearings and crankshaft
bearings.
Check for loose bolts/nuts.
Connect the machine to the
tractor and leave the machine
running without load for five
minutes.
Check the oil levels in the
gearboxes. They should be at
the centre of the gauge glass.
Check the transmission for oil
leaks.
Use EP 2 lubricating grease.
Tighten the loose bolts/nuts
with the correct torque.
Look and listen for any
strange noises and
movements.
Use SAE 140
Replace seals / sealing
paste.
