An optional approach of formatting a disc or creating partitions can be
made by using the Disc Management System located in the Windows
Control/System Panel. Please consult your Windows User Manual for
more details.

Securely removing the hard disc
When removing the hard disc from the computer, it is recom-
mended, that you click on the icon for the safe removal of USB
devices in the bottom right hand corner. This will make sure,
that no data or files are lost.
To do this, click on the icon with a right click. A window opens
in which you can select the drive that you want to remove.
Select the drive and confirm your selection. After a few
seconds the system will confirm safe removal.
