The type of portamento can be changed using a MENU function. To change the PORTAMENTO settings, press the
MENU button labelled [PORTA/TRIGGER], as shown in the following example:
The indicator in the [PORTA/TRIGGER] button will light and the main display will now alternate between the first
function (AUTOGLIDE) and its current value. Use the menu [EDIT - MENU UP] button to select the portamento
setting as follows:
The selections are:
No portamento will be applied
The portamento starts from the current pitch of the last note played
The portamento starts from the current pitch of the voice used for the new note
The portamento starts 2 semitones above the note pitch
The portamento starts 2 semitones below the note pitch
The portamento starts 5 semitones above the note pitch
The portamento starts 5 semitones below the note pitch
The portamento starts 12 semitones above the note pitch
The portamento starts 12 semitones below the note pitch
Use the menu [EDIT - VALUE + and VALUE -] buttons to change the setting as follows:
