DESCRIPTION
The Red Shield flood sensor triggers the wire-free home alarm’s Smart Panel when it detects that an area
in the house or office has been flooded.
The sensor consists of two parts: a transmitter and a water sensor. The water sensor should be placed in
the risk area, e.g. in a bathroom, cellar or under sink units. When the flood sensor detects water, it
triggers the wire-free home alarm. The system should be set so that the panel shows in which zone an
alarm has been triggered.

Positioning of the sensor:

where there is a risk of leaking water – the water sensor’s metal contacts must be in direct contact
with the water in order for the alarm to be triggered, but no other parts of the sensor must be
immersed in the water

on a hard or flat surface with the supplied double-sided self-adhesive fasteners

at a safe distance from extreme temperature sources (radiators, ovens, stoves, etc.) and large
metal objects that can disrupt the wireless signal transfer.
