The Lens is manufactured using hard coat acrylic. When cleaning please take care not to
scratch it. Should the Lens become scratched please send port to Seatool/Recsea for
replacement. (Repair fee and return shipping will be charged at normal rates)
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STROBE

For heavy strobes and lights please use optional Grip & Tray Assembly and compatible
connector.

While in the housing, the Canon G5 X on-board flash CANNOT be opened. Open flash
prior to installing camera in housing. Likewise the flash does NOT close when the camera
is turned OFF. Be sure to manually close the flash after camera is removed from housing.

Use the Strobe Mask-External Strobe Connection Mount to connect external strobe fiber
optic cable.
Connecting fiber optic cable for external strobe use:
CAUTION!
Store Strobe Mask-External Strobe Connection Mount and Screw in a secure
place so as not to lose them.
1. Place the Strobe Mask -External Strobe Connection Mount over the Flash Window and
secure by screwing the Strobe Mask Screw it into the Strobe Mask Screw Socket.
2. Insert bear fiber-optic cable (INON) or plug (SEA&SEA) into sockets provided.

Two (2) Tripod Screw Sockets are provided at the bottom of the housing for use in
attaching Seatool/Recsea genuine tray and grip assemblies.
CAUTION! Seatool/Recsea STRONGLY recommends the use of Seatool/Recsea genuine
tray and grip assemblies listed below under OPTIONS. Leakage or damages due to the use
of non-genuine options are NOT covered under warranty.

The Accessory Shoe can be used for installation of a target light. Be mindful of weight of
the light intended to use. For heavy lights use Seatool/Recsea tray and grip assembly.
