Section 9: Adjusting the
ProBOOSTER to Fit Your Vehicle
Backrest Vehicle Fitment
The purpose of the vehicle fitment bar adjustment is to help the
ProBOOSTER fit flat against your vehicle’s seating surfaces.
However, due to great variation in vehicle seating shape and design,
the ProBOOSTER is
NOT
suitable to use in all vehicle seats. Therefore,
you
MUST
read and understand all of the information in Section 6 of this
manual titled “Learning About Your Vehicle”, which covers the types of
vehicle seats that
CANNOT
be used with the ProBOOSTER.
There are two (2) vehicle fitment bar positions:
1. The ProBOOSTER will fit a
more vertical vehicle seat when
the fitment bar is in the
DOWN
position, flat against the child
restraint base.
2. The ProBOOSTER will fit a
more reclined vehicle seat
when the fitment bar is in the
UP
position, flat against the
child restraint seat back.
3.
NEVER
use the fitment bar in
any position except fully down
or fully up.
NOTE:
The fitment bar is to allow more of the child restraint to be in
contact with the vehicle seat. If your vehicle seat back has adjustable
recline, bring the seat back to its full and upright position.
