Impossible to light

 Burners are not fitted properly to

fitted to valves
 Burner air inlet is blocked  Clean or replace burner
 Cylinder is empty or almost
empty
 Replace with new cylinder
 Regulator is not fitted properly to
cylinder
 Gas supply is blocked
 Check regulator connection to
cylinder
 Straighten gas hose
Yellow, smoky flame
 Burner air inlet openings are
blocked
 Clear the blockages
 Lots of salt or marinade on
burner surfaces
 Clean burners
Burner can be lit with
match, but not with
igniter
 Poor conductor contact  Check all connections for
tightness
 Defective igniter or electrode
 Poor grounding
 Make sure the burner and igniter
are installed correctly
