Technical data
* The battery and the AC charger are not supplied.
Vibration level
The vibration emission level stated in this instruction manual has been measured in
accordance with a standardized test given in EN 60745; it may be used to compare one
power tool with another and as a preliminary assessment of exposure to vibration when
using the power tool for the applications mentioned.
• Using the power tool for different applications, or with different or poorly maintained
accessories, may significantly increase the exposure level.
• The times when the power tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually
doing the job, may significantly reduce the exposure level. Identify additional safety
measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration such as: maintain the
power tool and the accessories, keep the hands warm, organization of work patterns.
OPERATION
Note: The battery is partially charged. To ensure proper operation of the power tool,
the battery must be fully charged before first use.
Battery level
To check the battery level press the button at the back of the battery.
• When the battery is fully charged, all three LEDs are on.
• When the battery is half empty, two LEDs are on.
• When the battery is empty, only one LED is on. Charge the battery immediately.

Charging
• Place the AC charger on a flat and stable surface within about 1 meter from the power
supply socket.
• Remove the battery from the power tool. Press and hold the battery release button (9)
and at the same time slide out the battery.
• Slide the battery to the AC charger maximally so that it locks in place.
• Connect the AC charger to the power supply socket.
• When the battery is fully charged, slide it out from the AC charger and slide it in the
power tool so that it locks in place.
Charging indicators
The AC charger has charging indicators which indicate the status of the charging process:
• It takes about 1,5 hour to fully charge the battery.
• AC charger and battery may heat up during charging. It is a normal behavior.
• When power tool is not in use, it is recommended to charge the battery every three
months.
• When you notice that the power tool performance is decreasing, recharge the battery.
WARNING.
Switch off the angle grinder and disconnect the battery before assembly or adjustment.
Fitting the side handle
WARNING.
Always use the angle grinder with the side handle attached.
There are three mounting holes on the left, right and the top of the power tool head. Use them
to attach the side handle. To fit the side handle, maximally screw it into the desired mounting
hole.
Operate the angle grinder with both hands. Side handle provides firm grip and the risk of
touching the spinning wheel and injury during kickback is minimized.
Fitting the wheel guard
This angle grinder is delivered with a protective guard for sanding/grinding operations only.
The protective guard for grinding operations is NOT intended for cutting off operations, as
these operations require a specific protective guard.
WARNING.
Fit the wheel guard prior to each use. Do not use the angle grinder without the
wheel guard attached!
