The two dry contacts frequently monitor
freezer and refrigerator doors and alarm if
the door is left open for a certain time. If
the value is set to zero, there is no delay.
A submenu function enables the contacts
operation.

The value is minutes until an alarm is
activated. These devices frequently monitor
refrigerator doors and alarm if the door is left
open for a long time. If set to zero, there is

Setting Contact On/Off Alarms and Delay
The on/off contact sensing is set up in the sub-menu. See page 13 for more info on
setting those. However, the delay time before sending an alarm is set on this page.
Many delays are used on switch and contact functions.
Temperature:
delay alarm to ignore defrost cycle. Typically 30-45 minutes.
Door Position:
delay alarm to allow door to be open for a period. Typically 5 minutes.
Refrigeration Leak:
delay to assure that genuine leak is present. Typically 15 minutes.
Set delays carefully. A short delay causes false alarms, a long delay may mask prob-
lems.
