Lower Press Handle and raise Ram to approximately mid stroke. Use the Lock Pin that came with your Pro
Chucker Press in a vertical orientation, to prop up the Shell Plate Holder Assembly (see Photo 1). This allows
better access to perform the next function.
Using Parts Bag #2 and the two BHCS that held the Feed Ramp to the Shell Plate Holder Assembly, loosely attach
the Open Cam to the “Base Plate”. See photo 6 for proper orientation of the “Base Plate” and Open Cam. The
alignment of the Open Cam will be covered under the “
ADJUSTMENT ” Section 1.
Using the BHCS that held the Station 1 Case Retaining Spring, attach the “Base Plate” assembly to the underside
of the Shell Plate Holder Assembly at its mid point. Install the O ring onto the front boss of the Box Rail. Place the
Box Rail Assembly on the Shell Plate Holder Assembly. Place the two washers (from the Preparation phase) onto
the longer 5/8” BHCS and secure the “Base Plate” assembly at the rear/left mounting point. Bias the “Base Plate”
assembly towards you. Tighten the front of the Box Rail so that it aligns with the level of the Shell Plate. Further
adjustment of the front will be covered in the “
ADJUSTMENT ” Section 2.
