Chapter 5: Advanced Features

Illustrations contained in this document are for representation only.

Advanced Settings

More advanced settings are available for your to customize in the Setup menu, including
network configuration, preferences, and parental controls. Press the SETUP button on
the remote control to bring up the menu.

Keep in mind, your unit is already set up for most normal situations. Under normal
circumstances, you won’t need to use these features. They are only for advanced
setup.

Time Zone

You can manually set the time zone that you live in if it needs to be changed after
setup.

1. Press SETUP (the SETUP menu appears).

3. Press the down arrow button to highlight

User Information

The User Information menu includes zip code, time zone, and privacy policy information.

Zip Code

Your zip code is necessary to update the time and radio autotune functions on the unit.
