Encryption (This feature is supported in Digital mode only)
Encryption (also known as Privacy) allows for the transmissions on
selected digital channels to be encrypted. Encryption is a software-
based solution that is meant to prevent eavesdropping. The receiving
radio(s) must have the same Encryption Key (PRODIGITM Advanced
Software Encryption) or the same Key Value and Key ID (for ARC4
Encryption) as the transmitting radio in order to decode the encrypted
transmission. Channels may have their encryption enabled or disabled
using a programmable shortcut key (Encryption On/Off) or the Encryption
Menu (Display Radios Only). A radio must have the Encryption enabled
on the channel to transmit with encrypted transmission. A visual
indication appears on all display radios if the channel is privacy-enabled.

This is a radio-wide feature.

2. Press or to navigate to Service and press to select.
