Playing Discs
Playing mp3 and WMA Files
mp3 is an audio file format which compresses recorded music. It was developed by Fraunhofer
Gesellschaft in collaboration with Thomson Inc. The main advantage of the mp3 format is the ability to
store CD-quality music tracks on a personal computer in user-friendly compressed files.
WMA (Windows Media Audio) is another audio compression file format, developed by Microsoft
Corporation.

“Additional Information”
section
along with information on connecting a USB card reader to the portable DVD player.
Before inserting a disc, check that it is compatible with the player.

1.
Press the DOOR OPEN button to open the disc
compartment.
2.
Place the disc in the tray with the printed side facing up
and close the compartment. The disc’s contents appear
on the screen.
3.
Use the
and
down buttons to highlight a folder,
(Root, Main, or Sub). Press ENTER to see the folder’s
contents.
4. Select a file with the and
down buttons and press
PLAY or ENTER to start playback.
Note: When playing an mp3 or WMA disc, the following functions
may be available: Mute, Audio Mode, Pause/Step, Previous/Next
Track, Forward/Reverse, Zoom, Subtitle, and Slow/F.

Display Information
While the disc is playing, press the DISPLAY button repeatedly to display the single
elapsed time and single remaining time.
Repeat Playback
While the disc is playing, press the REPEAT button repeatedly to select a playback
mode:
Repeat One, Repeat Folder
and
Folder
(Off).
