Inspection before riding
In order to ensure your safety, make a general inspection before riding according to the table given below –

For the vehicles with different riding miles
and performance, please adopt different
maintenance.
1. Elementary maintenance:
1000km~2000km riding, please lubricate
& check tyre pressure.
2. Secondary maintenance:
3000km~6000km riding, please check
wear and tear of parts and tighten
fasteners.
3. Advanced maintenance:
6000km~10000km riding, please
disassemble, inspect and do
troubleshooting.
4. Inspect and maintain your motorcycle
at professional maintenance station or
service centre.
Fuel system
Check fuel capacity and fuel leakage
Carburetor
Check carburetor for fuel leakage and idle speed for stability and proper
acceleration.
Lubrication oil
Check luboil for quality and whether level is lower than the low scale mark.
Electrical system
Check electrical system for proper functioning.
Battery
Check battery for any leakage or spillage and acidic corrosion.
Clutch/Front brake lever
Check whether free stroke is appropriate and clutch can be separated and
meshed normally.
Gearshift/Rear brake

Check gearshift for flexibility and stability and whether free stroke of brake pedal
is appropriate.
Throttle lever
Check throttle lever for flexibility and stroke of 2~6 mm.
Steering mechanism
Check steering mechanism for flexibility and stability
Check chain for abrasion and lubrication
Chain
Tyre/Wheel
Check tyres for pressure and abrasion
Check Headlamp/Tail lamp/turning lamps for proper functioning.

Brake
Check brake disc/ brake pad/brake shoe for abrasion and proper functioning.
Main/Side stand
Check whether main stand and side stand are bended or deformed and whether
they can return well.
Fasteners
Check fasteners for looseness and possibility of falling.
