Special safety requirements
The energy station is partially charged at the
factory. It must be fully charged before initial
use.
The energy station must be charged at
least once every two months, regardless of
whether or not it has been used.
Batteries can release oxygen and hydrogen
fumes during charging and use. Smoking
is therefore forbidden in the vicinity of the
energy station while it is charging.
Only charge the energy station where there
is adequate ventilation.
In the event of battery fl uid spills on skin
or in the eyes, rinse immediately and
thoroughly with water and seek medical
assistance.
NEVER allow the red and black clamps to
come into contact with each other, the same
piece of metal or other conductive material.
The current in the battery clamps is
potentially life-threatening! Do not touch the
metal parts inside the clamps.
If the energy station falls into water, do not
put your hands in the water!
Do not touch the energy station with wet or
damp hands, and do not use in the rain or in
damp conditions.
Never expose the energy station to direct
sunlight, high temperatures or damp.
When connecting to batteries in cars
or boats, the red clamp must always be
connected to the battery’s positive terminal
(+) fi rst.
The black battery clamp must NOT be
connected directly to the battery’s negative
terminal (-). Instead, the black clamp must be
connected to a piece of exposed metal in the
engine compartment or to the chassis away
from the battery.
The energy station is only intended for use
with 12 V DC circuits. It must not be used to
give jump starts to vehicles such as trucks,
buses, tractors, mopeds, or scooters.
Do not use voltages higher than 12 V for
charging the energy station.
The energy station must not be charged for
more than 26 hours at a time when using the
230 V adapter.
The energy station must not be charged for
more than 12 hours at a time when using the
12 V adapter.
Do not use as a replacement for a car battery.
The compressor must not run for more than
10 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool for at
least 30 minutes before using it again.
