functioning of the stove. If the flue is dilapidated, steel pipes
with insulation (vermiculite, rock wool) must be inserted.
Smoke can be discharged directly into the flue only if it has a
maximum section of 15x15cm or Ø15cm. In any case, it must
have an inspection hatch.
Avoid allowing the steel pipe to come into contact with combus-
tible material (wooden beams).
Installation with external
Á
ue:
This type of installation (see Fig. 11) does not require an insulated
flue for the section inside the home, while it is obligatory to use insu-
lated pipes for the external section.
A “T” union has been fitted outside, in the lower part of the pipes, so
that the section can be inspected.
You are advised not to install two 90° elbows since ashes would soon
block the flow of smoke, causing problems for the stove’s draught
(see Fig. 12).
IMPORTANT NOTES
It is obligatory to create an initial vertical section of 1.5 mt min. to
guarantee the correct expulsion
of smoke.
Installation with internal
Á
ue:
This type of installation (See Fig.
13) does not require an insulated
flue, since part of the smoke duct
has been mounted inside the
home.
The lower part of the duct can be
inspected.
