BATTERY WARNINGS AND SAFEGUARDS
Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are potentially
hazardous and can present a serious FIRE HAZARD if
damaged, defective, or improperly used.
1.
DO NOT try to heat the product and charge the
battery at the same time.
2. DO NOT charge battery inside battery pocket.
3. DO NOT try to disassemble or cut battery.
4.
DO NOT expose to high heat or direct sunlight for
long periods of time.
5. DO NOT burn or incinerate battery.
6. DO NOT use if battery case is cracked or damaged.
7. DO NOT use if there is leakage or case bulges.
8.
DO NOT use battery with any non-Ravean 12v chargers.
9. DO NOT expose battery to any type of liquid.
10. DO NOT charge at temperatures below 40°F (4°C).
11. DO NOT store at temperatures higher than 170°F (76°C).
This can potentially result in self-combustion.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation
or burns. If you see your heated product or battery is
operating improperly, unplug it immediately and contact

HEATED JACKET STORAGE AND CARE
1.
Disconnect the battery pack from the heated jacket
before storing. This prevents you from accidentally
turning on the jacket.
2. Batteries should be stored at temperatures between 40°F
and 80°F (4°C and 27°C) for maximum life and safety.
3. For maximum life, batteries should be stored at
40% to 70% charge.
4. Batteries in long-term storage at room temperature
should receive a charge every three months or so.
5.
DO NOT leave the battery in the jacket overnight or
while not in use.
6. Maintain heated jacket. Check for breakage of parts
and any other condition that may affect the heated
jacket’s operation. If damaged, contact Ravean at
[email protected].
7. Recharge only with the Ravean charger. A charger that
is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a
risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
8. Use heated jacket only with specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
9. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a fire.
10. Before washing, disconnect and remove battery
pack from jacket. Push the power cord completely
into the battery pocket and fasten closed.
11. NEVER immerse your battery holder, battery pack, or
charger in liquid or allow any liquid to flow inside them.
12. Maintain labels; they carry important information.
If labels are unreadable or missing, contact Ravean
for free replacement.
