15. Do not place the appliance on quickly heating surfaces. When placing the waffle iron on such surfaces
use a thermal insulating mat.

Purpose and use:
1. The waffle iron is provided for use
in home and similar conditions.
2. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Attention! Make sure that the power source to which the appliance is to be connected is accordant with the
parameters specified on the rating plate.
The Waffle iron is manufactured in the first protection class, which means that it should be plugged into a
socket with an earthing prong.
ATTENTION!
Before first use of the appliance clean and then precisely dry all surfaces contacting food.
Do not immerse in water
Place the appliance on a flat surface resistant to high temperatures. After turning the regulating knob the
appliance immediately starts operating, which is marked with the lighting of the “POWER” diode. During first
operation set the regulating knob to “MAX” / “Dark”.
ATTENTION! During the first actuation the appliance may emit unpleasant smells and a delicate smoke for
several minutes.
If this state does not subside after some time, turn the appliance off.
After reaching an appropriate temperature the thermostat will turn the heater off.
Use:
1. Before each actuation of the appliance check its status in scope of mechanical damage and check
whether the power cord is not damaged.
2. Turn the knob from the “0” position to a selected value between “MIN” and “MAX” (Dark). The
control diode “READY” will turn on and will keep glowing until the thermostat reaches the set
temperature. The control diode signals the operation of the heating element. The thermostat will
maintain the user selected temperature cyclically actuating and turning off the heating element. The
“LIGHT” position signifies a setting of intermediate temperature between the highest and the lowest
values.
