Running the TMRC Program
Launching the TMRC Application
As with other Windows™ 3.X applications, you may launch TMRC by double-
clicking its program icon. On the other hand, Windows 95™ users may launch
TMRC by double-clicking its program icon or finding and selecting it via the
Start/Programs selection (Start/Programs/TMRC).
Main Window Description
The main window offers you the choice of either working in “Stand-alone” or
“Remote-device” mode. “Stand-alone” is used when no direct connection to an
active MRC7601 is available, while “Remote-device” mode is used only when
your PC is connected to an active MRC7601. In either mode, the user can choose
to open an existing (user-created) file, work with a default file, preview and print
the default configuration, and/or view version information.
Working in the Stand-alone Mode
In the stand-alone mode, the user has access to the Version window and the
Configuration window. The “version” window will display the TMRC Graphical
User Interface version number but will not report the MRC7601 version. The
“configuration” window, however, will let the user establish and save a
configuration to disk or print it for later use. In either window, user assistance is
available via the drop-down “Help” menu or the F1 hot key:
