When the 1394 HDD is connected, Window Me will install the driver automatically.
But it may take some minutes to install it. To verify the 1394 storage driver installation, follow
steps through.
1.Click
My Computer
with the right button of the mouse.
2.Select
Properties
.
3.You will see the screen below. Click the
Device Manager
tab.
4.Doubl-click
“Storage device”
.
5.If there is a
IEEE 1394 Disk
string without any yellow “!” marks or red “X” marks
under the
[Storage device]
as shown below, the 1394 storage driver is installed correctly.
