5. Operation Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
1. Before opening the lid, make sure the float valve has fallen.
2. Hold the handle with one hand and the other hand pull out the safety lock. Then turn the lid
clockwise to the open position then lift up the lid.
3. Take out the inner pot, pour food and water into it. Beware the amount of food and water,
exceed or less than the suggested amount may result undercook, overcook, overflow and
damaged the appliance.
The maximum and minimum amount of each function (ingre water) can refer to below
table and the corresponding level marked on the inner pot:

* Rice function should use supplied measuring cup. 1 cup of rice is approx. 160ml. User may
slightly adjust the water amount to fine tune their preferred texture.
4. Place the inner pot back into the appliance. Slightly turn the inner pot back and forth to ensure
the inner pot is fully in contact with the heating plate. Before putting the inner pot into the
appliance, ensure the surface of the inner pot are dry and clean. If any foreign object on the
surface of the heating plate, must clean it immediately, otherwise it may have abnormal sound
and cause malfunction.
5. Make sure the inner lid fitted with the sealing ring and installed well on the lid.
6. Check whether the pressure limit valve and float valve is blocked. If it is blocked, clean it and
keep the valve hole clear.
7. Pull out the safety lock, place the O mark on the lid aligned with the open position on the main
body to land the lid, and then turn it counter clockwise to reach the close position to close the
lid. Check and make sure the pressure limit valve is on the seal position and placed flat.
8. Connect the power cord, ensure both ends of the power cord are plugged in tightly into the
appliance and the power socket. When a beep sound is heard and the display screen shows
00:00, the appliance is in stand-by mode.
